Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Yum Eats app and the website at yumeats.app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Yum Eats.
The service
Yum Eats is a shopping and cooking app. It helps you track pantry items, manage a shopping list, and save or cook from recipes. Features may change, and some tools may be limited on a free plan or still in testing.
Your account
You must provide a valid email address and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. Contact hello@yumeats.app if you think someone else has used it.
Your content
You keep ownership of recipes, lists, pantry items, and images you add. You give us permission to store and display that content so the app can work. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misuse the app, interfere with other users, or attempt unauthorised access
- Use Yum Eats for anything unlawful
- Reverse engineer or copy the app except where the law allows
Subscriptions and stores
If paid plans are offered, Apple or Google handle the purchase through their store accounts. Their refund and billing rules apply. Deleting your Yum Eats account does not automatically cancel a store subscription; cancel that in your App Store or Google Play settings.
The website
This website is informational. Store badges marked “coming soon” are not download links. Support is offered by email at hello@yumeats.app.
Disclaimer
Recipe, nutrition, allergen, and measurement information is provided as a convenience. It may be incomplete or inaccurate. Yum Eats is not medical or dietary advice. Check labels and use your own judgement, especially if you have allergies.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yum Eats is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of the app or website.
Termination
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or if we discontinue the service.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. The current version will be posted at yumeats.app/terms/.
